Aembit is a well-funded cybersecurity startup founded in late 2021. The company’s founders have a strong track record, having started several companies that were successfully acquired. We are focused on a new area in the hot identity space.

Aembit is hiring talented senior engineers to join our core engineering team. You’ll be a key member developing a high-quality culture in a new team, building a new product, scaling our cloud service, and solving challenging technical problems. Relevant technologies include Identity, Security, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Big Data Analytics.

Aembit is fully remote; this is an excellent opportunity for you to be impactful and develop a new security product for a large market from the ground up.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Be part of a vital and dynamic team, responsible for the development of the Aembit cloud infrastructure.
  • Build, expand, and maintain the tools, resources, and processes supporting our infrastructure.
  • Monitor and automate our systems to drive scalability and reliability of our cloud.

We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform
  • Demonstrated ability in software coding and development, with experience in scripted and compiled programming languages
  • A strong background in Cloud Platform technologies from AWS, including virtual private cloud, cloud computing, and databases
  • Significant experience as an SRE or DevOps practitioner delivering enterprise, customer-facing, always-on cloud applications in a highly secure manner
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies and best practices related to the use of these technologies
  • A healthy “security mindset” and familiarity with security tooling, including Firewalls, DDoS prevention, and infrastructure monitoring.

Preferred Skills:

  • Contributions to the Open Source community
  • Some experience with Azure or Google Cloud
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and related technologies, including OAuth, OpenID, SAML, JWT, PKI
  • Some experience with security audits and relevant standards, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, CSA Start, etc.
