As in-business Business Operations, you will have the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the Trading Solutions / Markets business unit, manage strategy execution, and support the business operations of existing spot trading activities as well as various growth initiatives, including financing and derivatives offerings. Within this role, you will be considered a subject matter expert in each of the product offerings within the Trading business line, and stand up and manage cross functional processes with operations, legal, risk, and compliance matters, as well as working closely with sales and clients directly to ensure customer success.
This is an internal- and external-facing role, requiring leadership of cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, gain consensus among stakeholders, and manage against internal deadlines. You will also be responsible for interacting with current and prospective clients to establish feedback loops on products and services, establishing pricing and revenue models, and supporting the Platform Integrations team in managing client transitions. Beyond strategy development and execution, you will be expected to support the day-to-day business operations of the Trading businesses, which includes internal reporting, business development, go-to-market, and sales efforts.
You will be expected to provide operational support for the business and be a key contributor and influencer, solution issues, and escalate where appropriate.

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of crypto and markets businesses, including otc trading, financing, derivatives, and ability to contribute to building out frameworks from scratch, bringing along risk, compliance, legal, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience working within a product driven organization and ability to self-serve where needed.
  • Ability to work with basic data and analytics tool, including PythonStrong analytical, writing, presentation, and public communication skills.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Conduct primary research to contribute strategic proposals across the trading business, including identifying and executing on opportunities for enhancement.
  • Participates in existing and potential client conversations to develop relationships, promote business growth, and progress client deals.
  • Promote shared understanding of company needs through advising Team Lead, Department Head, and other key stakeholders on strategic planning and direction, consistently developing and implementing projects or processes to align with greater company mission.
  • Collaborate across teams, such as Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Product to solve problems and define strategy, prioritization, and roadmap execution.
  • Support strategy execution and own internal business line operations.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of Anchorage business operations, including onboarding, customer experience, legal, and compliance.
  • Influence the prioritization and development of key product features and automation from a strategy and business perspective.
  • Monitor the development and progress of the company objectives that impact or are critical dependencies for Trading Solutions.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing across Trading Solutions.

Communication and Influence:

  • Contribute to strategic proposals, business plans, and execution roadmaps.
  • Crosses direct team and function boundaries to gain consensus, identify and solution issues, and present to Team Lead, Department Head, and stakeholders across Anchorage.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy and operations, ideally within a trading, financial services, or high-growth business environment. Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and operational improvements that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a knack for breaking down complex, multi-faceted challenges into structured, actionable steps.
  • Strong analytical acumen with an "80/20" mindset, able to focus on the most impactful business signals and derive insights that drive strategic decisions. Comfortable distilling large amounts of data to identify key trends, root causes, and actionable next steps.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to manage dependencies across teams, navigate competing priorities, and proactively address roadblocks to ensure projects stay on track
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines, maintaining high standards of performance while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation, and public communication skills.
