Reporting to the VP, Global Sales Operations, the Director of Sales Processes and Systems will be at the center of the sales engine, designing and improving processes and identifying best practices to improve seller productivity and experience.
This role will focus on designing world class processes and systems in alignment with Barracuda’s global go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will act as the business owner of the systems supporting Barracuda’s sales teams globally and will work closely with the systems team to implement the designed processes in the application ecosystem and support make vs buy decisions for new tools and capabilities. This individual will also work closely with the Sales Enablement team to design and deliver a curriculum aimed at the adoption of the implemented processes and systems and drive productivity improvements.
What you will be working on:
  • Support the evolution of sales processes and systems to improve sales productivity
  • Create and document of sales processes, systems, and tools currently in use
  • Define a set of prioritized initiatives to streamline and automate said processes and a metrics framework to measure success
  • Work closely with the CIO organization to support the sales systems improvement roadmap
  • Identify data needs to support the evolution of sales processes and tools
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales operations, tools, and analytics
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to prioritize projects, scope the requirements, and develop, design, and implement solutions across go-to-market functions
  • Oversee overall improvement project execution, including coordinating with enablement to drive change management and the successful adoption of improved processes and tools across the entire sales organization
  • Work with Channel and Customer Success organizations to incorporate an end-to-end view into the design of the improved processes
  • Provide transparency and manage expectations across teams
What you will bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Management Consulting designing and implementing sales processes and systems at SaaS companies
  • Deep understanding of the Lead to Order business processes and supporting technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce.com ecosystem including Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ
  • Extensive knowledge of forecasting processes and tools such as Clari and Aviso
  • Familiarity with best of breed sales tools available in the market
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business process reengineering projects
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from multiple functions
  • Comfortable working with a cross-functional team in an environment with a high degree of change
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and measure success of transformation programs
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead without authority
