We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Global Accounts Payable to lead our AP operations across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role will oversee a global team and ensure compliance with local regulations, drive process improvements, and support strategic initiatives in payables and expense management.
What you’ll be working on
- Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and mentor a geographically distributed AP team across US, EMEA, and APAC.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of expense reports, invoices, payments, and vendor maintenance.
- Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and tax regulations.
- Systems & Process Management
- Serve as administrator for Concur Expense and Concur Travel, including configuration, policy enforcement, and user support.
- Oversee T&E auditing processes to ensure policy compliance and fraud prevention.
- Manage corporate card programs, including issuance, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Accounts Payable Operations
- Oversee AP operations in NetSuite, including Invoice processing and approvals, vendor setup and maintenance,payment runs and reconciliations, and month-end and year-end reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely 1099 and other tax reporting in compliance with IRS and international requirements.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain AP metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting to Finance leadership on AP aging, payment cycles, and compliance metrics.
- Compliance & Controls
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors during reviews and audits.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred for Sr. Manager level.
- 10+ years of progressive AP experience in a global environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple regions (US, Canada, EMEA, APAC).
- Strong knowledge of Concur Expense/Travel, NetSuite, and corporate card programs.
- Experience with T&E auditing, vendor management, and tax reporting (including 1099s).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building a global team and standardizing processes.
- Familiarity with automation tools and process improvement methodologies, including system implementations.
- Multilingual capabilities or experience working in multicultural environments.
