We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, process-minded individual to join our Indirect Procurement team.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership in initiating and managing strategic procurement projects, excels at translating organizational goals into effective procurement processes, and possesses comprehensive knowledge of the procurement lifecycle. They effectively collaborate across functions, drive innovation by optimizing processes and adopting new technologies, and partner with stakeholders to enhance data and automation.
The Senior Procurement Manager works closely with the Indirect Procurement Director to streamline purchasing processes while supporting the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services, negotiating favorable pricing and terms, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and analytical skills are crucial for success.
This person is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, anticipates organizational needs, implements innovative solutions, and delivers measurable outcomes that align with Barracuda’s long-term growth objectives.
What You’ll Be Working On

Process Improvements:
  • Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge-sharing guides, and training materials for internal team use.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new technology solutions that enhance procurement efficiency, data visibility, and cross department collaboration.
  • Track recurring issues that arise in the purchase process and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Identify process gaps and drive projects to simplify and automate workflows
  • Partner with business, finance, and legal leaders to identify and implement Procure-to-Pay best practices including savings and controllership requirements.
Sourcing:
  • Triage incoming procurement tickets and requests, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues and inquiries.
  • Leverage negotiation skills and knowledge of costs and cost drivers to negotiate favorable pricing and PO terms and conditions, focusing on optimizing value and mitigating risk for the organization.
  • Manage the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for wide variety of indirect agreements, including SaaS/IT subscriptions, consulting engagements, licensing agreements, HR, Marketing and Facilities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and be primary business contact for internal business partners and key suppliers alike.
  • Proactively follow up on open PO's and expedited orders as needed.
General:
  • Prepare and present reports related to procurement activities and savings initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business, finance, and legal stakeholders—to align procurement strategies with organizational priorities.
  • Interface professionally and maintain good rapport with requesters, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks contributing to the organization’s goals
  • Have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
What you bring to the role:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 5-7 years proven experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the technology space, with solid comprehension of procurement practices, procedures and techniques.
  • Experience with the deployment of Procure to Pay tools a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to establish scalable best practices.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate Excel and other Microsoft Office experience.
  • Positive, proactive, detail oriented and driven to succeed attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Desire and aptitude for learning new things.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $60,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws
