We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate developer to join our cross functional Agile team.
As a Staff Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based email security products. You will be working closely with product managers, customers, and developers to design, develop, test, and deliver new and innovative features in a continuous delivery model. Tech Stack:
- Email Security & Messaging Protocols (Core): Deep expertise in SMTP, POP, IMAP, TLS, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and related security standards
- Email Threat Protection: Familiarity with anti-spam, anti-phishing, malware filtering, encryption, and secure email gateways
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (primary), Azure(working knowledge)
- CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: GitHub/GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), ECS
- Programming Expertise: Strong in Python and Java; familiarity with Perl and exposure to GoLang or similar modern languages
- Monitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana (others like Kibana/New Relic are a bonus)
- Data Storage: AWS S3, DynamoDB, MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) and ElasticSearch
- Messaging & Streaming: Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS
- Caching: Redis
- Identity & Access Management: LDAP, MS AD, Okta
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge across Unix, CentOS, and related environments
What you’ll be working on:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, cloud-native software solutions using AWS, Python, Java, and modern DevOps practices
- Architect and integrate scalable AI-driven features leveraging LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks
- Build frameworks and libraries to accelerate engineering transformation across the organization
- Drive CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for reliable, high-velocity delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive optimization
- Provide technical leadership: mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and conduct code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems
- Maintain clear technical documentation for architecture and design
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 12+ years of software development experience, including leadership roles
- Proven expertise in AWS cloud technologies (EKS, ECS, Managed Services), Python, and Java
- Strong background in DevOps practices: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- AWS certifications are a plus
