As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team.Position Overview:The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality DevOps solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, the engineer will define requirements, prioritize features, and manage product backlogs. This role demands a robust understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, cloud computing platforms, containerization, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality DevOps solutions, utilizing agile methodologies and contemporary engineering practices.- Work in collaboration with product management and design teams to refine requirements, prioritize features, and oversee backlogs.- Implement robust continuous integration and delivery practices, infrastructure as code, cloud computing platforms, containerization technologies, and microservices architectures to support the business's growth and success.- Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines, workflows, architectures, and frameworks, alongside the necessary libraries, tools, services, platforms, and applications for software development, testing, deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, scaling, resiliency, security, compliance, and governance.- Perform unit, integration, load, and penetration testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of DevOps solutions.- Engage in code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes to enhance DevOps efficiency and productivity.- Develop technical documentation such as design specifications, user manuals, and help guides.- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in DevOps and apply this knowledge to advance the organization's capabilities.- Partner with senior engineers to define and execute DevOps strategies, roadmaps, and objectives, as well as to develop projects, processes, standards, and training that drive business success.- Provide mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, aiding their professional growth and development.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.- At least 3 years of DevOps engineering experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.- Strong technical acumen with experience in continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and various DevOps practices, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, or JavaScript, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, TravisCI, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.- Quick learning ability, with a knack for adapting to new requirements and resolving complex issues.- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Lean software development methodologies.- Understanding of cloud platforms, containerization technologies, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices is advantageous.- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue is a plus.- Data engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, or other advanced analytics skills are beneficial.Benefits:- Competitive salary- Comprehensive health insurance- Stock options- Flexible schedule and remote work opportunities- Professional development programs- Company-sponsored events and recognition programsJoin BlueFlag Security and contribute to a team that's transforming developer security solutions and fostering software innovation.
