Opportunity: This is an opportunity to be part of a talented, close-knit, and growing engineering team in an exciting technology startup. We have an opening for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Agile software development team who will be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle. The Software Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Code, test, and maintain end-to-end applications that run clients, in enterprise network environments, and on blockchain networks
- Participate in the full Agile software development process including brainstorming user stories, planning sprints, doing peer reviews, and of course lots of hands-on-keyboard coding
- Develop test cases, both unit and integration tests (we’re big on automation and continuous integration)
- Use well-established orchestration and provisioning frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker
- Deploy and manage complex networks across cloud platforms. We’ve worked hard to stay cloud agnostic!
- Be ready for troubleshooting anywhere, whether it’s inside a client application or on one of 20 Docker containers running on a cloud instance
- Be committed to high-quality software development principles while still meeting programmatic milestones
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- College or university degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-5 yrs. experience in the field
- Excited to work in a start-up environment and to experience all the excitement that goes with it
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and common programming languages, such as Go, C++, and Java. We’re pretty much a Go shop.
- Experience developing back-end, particularly networking and authentication-focused applications
- Deep knowledge of encryption and authentication standards such as SSL, OAuth2, JWT, mutualTLS
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude, willingness to be a team player, and respect for our diverse and creative work environment
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to support a hybrid, in-office/remote work model at either Corsha’s Vienna, VA or Atlanta, GA locations.

Preferred Competency Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with commercial software development
- Experience with orchestration and provisioning technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Hyperledger Fabric
- Experience with secure software development and release processes and best practices
