How you’ll be aiding the mission:

As an outgoing and detail-oriented professional office manager with a high degree of integrity, you will be responsible for providing general office support in our fast growing, fun and dynamic Tysons Corner office. This position requires an organized, personable, and detail-oriented office manager that will manage various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly. Tasks include but are not limited to front desk management, maintaining office supplies, expense reporting and scheduling meetings and travel for some team members. This position is primarily an in office position with some flexibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Welcome visitors, including customers, partners, and potential teammates, to the office and assist them as needed.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as needed (e.g. scan documents, organize supplies, create POs, badge creation and management for team members and visitors, etc.)
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings/appts and travel for some executive leaders from time to time
  • Sort and triage incoming and outgoing mail, including coordinating the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc)
  • Create and process expense reports for some executive leaders from time to time
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
  • Assist in planning local team events and get togethers
  • Coordinate the stocking of team member break room/kitchen area and ensure orders are made when supplies are low
  • Notify and remind all parties of upcoming events, lunches, meetings, etc.
  • Book travel arrangements for new team members when onboarding
  • Suggest and manage changes to office set up to improve space usage and efficiency
  • Maintain an organized workspace; organize and keep tidy public office spaces and keep free from boxes and other office clutter
  • Reserve and prepare meeting rooms and meetings logistics for various team meetings that take place in the office
  • Report and follow up (expedite) any office updates, parking issues, maintenance priorities, event requests or pertinent team issues that need addressing building management
  • Prepare workspace for new team members and visiting team members
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of team members
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time generally considered reasonable for an office management position

What we need you to bring:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in office administration, management or related business field preferred
  • 2+ years working in office administration or hospitality management or a combination of education and experience.
  • Technology literate and proficient using Google and/or Microsoft office applications
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to work and adapt in dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Proactive to identify problems and suggest solutions
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of work product
  • Results oriented team player who is committed to getting the job done well
  • Professional awareness of appropriate interaction with team members, visitors, vendors, customers, etc.

  • Compensation Disclosure: The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include variable and/or equity components.
    • $65,000 to $105,000/yr
