This is a key role in the Workday support team. Reporting into the Head of Data and Systems you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of finance function aspects of Workday, covering business processes, controls, data and reporting.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectations of 2 days a week in the London office.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IS partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A, Reporting, AP, AR, Procurement and Expenses
  • Provide consultation to Finance process leads, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Create, maintain and facilitate training and documentation on Workday financial areas
  • Maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
  • Assist in testing of integrations, security and recurring events such as Workday updates
  • Maintain and update system configuration, such as cost centres and consolidations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a Workday finance system support role (Essential)
  • Understanding of finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting (Essential)
  • Understanding of finance business processes, controls and best practice (Essential)
  • Proficiency in Workday Finance report writing (advanced Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields) (Essential)
  • Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls (Essential)
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills (Essential)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities (Essential)
  • Ability to prioritise workload and execute tasks independently (Essential)
  • Finance functional experience (Desirable)
