At Darktrace, as a Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding our customer retention targets across defined territories within EMEA. Within this role you will partner with the regional sales and Customer Success team, to ensure that our customers are seeing the full value of the software, leading to a successful renewal. This is a hands on, individual contributor role that is quota carrying.
The successful candidate must have experience in account management, with a focus on renewals. Darktrace works with the world’s largest organisations, so you must be comfortable and show experience in working with C-Level executives at multinational organisations.
Responsibilities:
- Work across multiples teams to secure renewals and close upsell opportunities within assigned territories
- Forecasting and delivering against substantial retention targets to achieve the assigned booking targets
- Manage the negotiation of renewals with both customers and partners
- Take the lead in resolving any service delivery, support or account issues effecting the renewal
- Working with a new and growing team to drive business goals
Candidate requirments:
As well as excellent communication skills and an ambitious approach, the successful Director of Renewals will bring the following skills and experience:
- Experience of enterprise technology sales, ideally focused on Renewals or account management (Essential)
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients (Essential)
- Experience working colabratively with other sales teams (Essential)
- Strong C-level/board-level communications skills (Essential)
- Willingness to travel to accounts across the territory (Essential)
- Good business acumen, experience with contracts and pricing (Essential)
- Proven experience in negotiation (Essential)
