As a Cyber Analyst, you will be tasked with visualising how Darktrace products have positively impacted our clients’ businesses. You will be in the thick of the action, analysing technical data to identify potential cyber threats and give our clients the peace of mind that they are protected by Darktrace’s suite of products. You'll be given extensive training and support as you develop in the role. This role offers candidates with strong technical and scientific backgrounds the opportunity to commence a career in the dynamic and exciting industry of cyber security.
Responsibilities:
- Use the Darktrace suite of products to prepare Threat Intelligence Reports and investigate ongoing cyber attacks
- Investigate and communicate critical information about potential threats, ongoing compromises, and retrospective analysis of incidents internally and externally to clients
- Real-time analysis of emerging threats in the SOC team
- Confidently represent Analyst work and cyber security principles both internally and externally as required.
- Using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques and tools to conduct threat research and analysis
- Pro-actively monitoring and staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity

Requirements:
Due to the nature of an ever-changing environment, we’re looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, and strong deduction capabilities to analyse and problem solve technical issues which may arise. As a company that prides ourselves on our reactive capabilities, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently as part of a diverse team. You'll also have:
- A Bachelor’s degree from university or applied sciences (HBO), preferably in computer science or engineering (essential)
- 1+ year’s work experience in a Cyber, Research, Intelligence or Analysis role (preferable)
- A team player with demonstrable aptitude at sharing knowledge and mentoring (essential)
- Meticulous attention to detail, with strong proven analytical and time management skills (essential)
- Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written (essential)
- Fluent English is required for this role (essential)
