Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead our existing Technical Pre-Sales team in the Asia and ANZ supporting our GTM motion for customers in pre-sales and post-sales capacities.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of technical leaders and specialists in the field of cyber security, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management to maximize their individual and collective potential.
  • GTM Partnership: Partner with our regional and global sales and customer success leadership throughout the sales and renewal processes providing technical assistance and expertise to drive revenue and retention
  • Pre-Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the sales and pre-sales leadership team to develop sales strategies, set targets, and create actionable plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives in the cyber security domain.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive sales results by fostering a high-performance culture, monitoring individual and team performance metrics, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed POV and sales targets in the cyber security market.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the cyber security industry, ensuring you and your team possess deep knowledge of the company's cyber security offerings to effectively address customer requirements.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to the technical sales process
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement and utilize appropriate pre-sales performance tracking tools and systems to monitor team performance, generate accurate POV and pipeline forecasts, and provide timely reports to the senior management team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing a regional pre-sales sales engineering team for a cyber security or software organization covering Asia and/or ANZ
  • 5+ years of Pre-Sales Leadership experience with documented track record of success.
  • Cyber Security Knowledge: In-depth and hands-on understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and industry trends, including knowledge of various security solutions, email and network infrastructure, and threat landscape.
  • Confident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing pre-sales/technical teams, with strong coaching and mentoring skills to drive individual and team success.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with a GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
