As Darktrace’s Head of Global Enablement and you will be responsible for developing the enablement curriculum, vision and strategy across Darktrace’s entire ecosystem that includes Sales & Technical Enablement, Customer Success/Renewals, Customers, and Partners. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this senior leadership role will play a pivotal role in driving business outcomes and for continuously innovating, refining, delivering and measuring enablement content. Helping customers, partners and Darktrace employees build their capability to deliver outcomes with Darktrace is key in enhancing customer experience, expanding the customer and partner ecosystem, and driving business growth and profitability.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategy:
    • Create an enablement strategic vision, plan, and staffing model that provides cohesive, end-to-end training, resources, skills, and tools needed for GTM, Customer Success, Partners and Customers to meet and exceed their plan targets, MBOs and NPS objectives now and into the future.
    • Develop and execute an innovative Enablement GTM strategy that addresses the global skills needed for Darktrace users at every stage in their journey from new hires to tenured professionals and aligns to Darktrace’s current and future business plans.
    • Develop the right subscription offerings, learning ecosystem, curriculum, accreditations and certifications and delivery strategies for global scale, effectiveness and profitability
    • Evaluate existing enablement offerings and infrastructure, and identify opportunities to refine, enhance and elevate existing content, offerings and infrastructure.
    • Establish and maintain a company-wide learning management system, hands-on lab capabilities, and business reporting to drive effective learning outcomes.
    • Partner with senior leaders in Sales, Partner, Customer Success, Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing and Engineering to identify requirements and develop strategies that can grow Darktrace capabilities and engagement.
  • Measurement:
    • Establish clear metrics and evaluation methods (quantitative and qualitative) to measure the influence on business results and the effectiveness of enablement initiatives and curriculum in developing employee, customer and partner skills and capabilities
    • Make recommendations and adjustments to offerings as appropriate to optimize and prioritize resources. Evaluate and report on cost vs. impact.
  • Team Leadership:
    • You will need to build a high-performing enablement organization encompassing curriculum development, employee, customer, partner and technical enablement, with a strong internal reputation that fosters a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Establish and drive standards for hiring and training, providing coaching, mentorship and guidance to develop team skills and inspire excellence in execution and commitment to Darktrace’s vision and mission.
    • Stay informed and aligned with modern learning methods, offering multi-modal training and impactful learning experiences that incorporate innovative and blended learning solutions that are easy to navigate and support a broad range of different learning styles and methods.
    • Encourage an experimental and growth vs. a fixed mindset across the team, open to identifying and exploring new ideas, improvements and evolving ways of working.
  • External:
    • Build and cultivate relationships with external peers and learning partners to stay apprised of trends and inform perspectives.
    • Leverage insights and best practices in designing and delivering enterprise solutions and impactful learning experiences.
    • Champion Darktrace’s Customer, Partner and Darktrace training and enablement programs across Darktrace and externally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years in a Global Enablement leadership capacity
  • Experience growing and innovating Sales/Technical Enablement, and external Partner Programs globally, preferably in organizations undergoing transformation.
  • 10+ years of sales, technical, partner enablement and certification experience
  • High degree of technical capability to learn the Darktrace product portfolio, value proposition, and how customers adopt and use products to solve business problems
  • Demonstrated experience with design and development of curriculum strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with learning technologies and digital learning trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and change to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of content development, delivery, and management.
