We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cloud Account Executive to join our sales team. The Cloud Account Executive will be responsible for selling our cloud services and solutions to businesses. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in cloud sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and the skills to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities related to cloud services and solutions.
    Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Darktrace Cloud Solutions and their value to our customers for our cloud segment.
  • Demonstrate ability to position and advise our level executives with industry Point-of-View business insights; Continue to listen, build, and grow executive relationships with customers.
  • Develop and close business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas, in a way that reflects the Darktrace values.
  • Help to Optimize market opportunity.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting.
  • Build effective working relationships with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executive teams to ensure strategy alignment and achieve company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 years of experience in cloud sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, services, and providers (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand client needs and challenges.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies are a plus.
