Sales Enablement Director – AMS

To support Darktrace’s unstoppable growth, Darktrace Academy is looking for a Sales Enablement Director who has the passion, experience and know-how to inspire sales people to sell Darktrace solutions through outstanding customer engagement.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • This exciting role in the Darktrace Academy department has high visibility throughout our organization and entails managing the Darktrace Sales Enablement program across the Americas region.
  • This role develops, implements, measures and manages enablement programs to improve seller effectiveness, accelerate new sales hire ramp to productivity and educate sellers on how to improve the quality and quantity of sales activities to meet revenue objectives.
  • Work directly with our Global VP of Sales Enablement and our go-to-market team including stakeholders in field sales, inside sales, VPPs, customer success and partner organization to manage and coordinate new-hire onboarding and on-going enablement.
  • You will manage a team of sales enablement instructors on a day to day basis, planning and delivering the sales enablement schedule.
  • Deliver onboarding & sales training programs effectively, achieving high scoring evaluation ratings
  • You will be responsible for producing monthly enablement reports for Darktrace Academy as well as providing feedback to key GTM stakeholders.
  • You will periodically conducting skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement by working closely with the sales team to identify challenges they face on-the job.
  • Month-on-month you and your team will work on new exciting training programs in Darktrace Academy. You will be expected to project manage activities and work to tight deadlines. Projects could include:
    • Content development of new instructor-led training (ILT) or eLearning courses
    • Coordination of live training events
    • Orchestration of the onboarding of new hires in AMS
    • Orchestration of the LMS
    • Ongoing training for the AMS sales teams

Skills & qualifications:

First and foremost you need to have a passion for education and teaching

  • For this role you definitely need extensive experience (6 years minimum) across the entire “Enterprise” sales cycle, having personally closed business
  • 2-3 years of experience in enablement
  • Experience in leading and managing a team
  • We’ll ask you to leverage your sales skills within the sales enablement curriculum, passing on your experience to new sales executives
  • You will be actively familiar with Sales Methodologies and Sales Frameworks such as MEDDPICC and Value Selling
  • You will be practiced in managing and mentoring teams, performing periodic employee reviews and support your team with career development.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline, with a gpa of 3.5 or above
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Saleforce.com
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, classroom delivery and management skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of discipline to work practices and an eye for detail
  • Qualifications in teaching are desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken) a requirement
