Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our LATAM sales team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, be fluent in Spanish and have a successful track record selling across Mexico and the broader Central American market. This position will require frequent travel.

Location: (US-Based) Austin, Dallas, Miami or Los Angeles

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and executive a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets within assigned territory.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing deals; partner with Business Development Representatives, Marketing, and Regional Channel Managers to prospect new business and drive both direct and indirect revenue.
  • Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate Darktrace cyber threat defense solutions to information security experts and C-level executives. With the support of our Cyber Technologist and Cyber Engineer teams, effectively communicate the value proposition of Darktrace’s AI-driven cybersecurity solutions to clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to position Darktrace as a leader in the cybersecurity space.
    Achieve quarterly revenue targets through the acquisition of new accounts within your assigned territory; partner with Channel Account Managers to drive indirect revenue.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Business Development, Technical Account Managers and Cyber Threat Analysts who will support you in

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years full cycle sales experience with a complex sale at the Enterprise level (Essential)
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry (Essential)
  • Ability to work autonomously – but also co-ordinate with multi-disciplined teams (Essential)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Essential)
  • Ability to leverage existing network in developing your client base within your first 6-9 months
  • Bachelors degree is preferred but not required
