The Engineering (Tech) Team is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we build the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real-time with a machine learning first approach. While building the best value for our customers, you will work with a wide range of technical challenges. Such as building distributed systems that need to operate 24/7 and ultra-low latencies, solving UI/UX problems to help fraud analysts to fight fraud more efficiently. In addition, designing extensive databases from relational, NoSQL and graphs, validate and develop new data science techniques and algorithms.
You:
As an Engineering Manager in the Build team, you will lead a team focused on CI/CD tooling and developer experience. Your team empowers engineering teams across Feedzai to build, test, and ship software efficiently, securely and reliably. Whether it's improving build speed, enhancing deployment workflows, or maintaining the internal tooling ecosystem, your work will directly improve how engineers do their jobs every day.
This role requires strong technical leadership and a user-centric mindset. You’ll focus on understanding developer needs and removing friction from the development lifecycle. Your ability to prioritize developer impact, drive execution, and foster a culture of engineering excellence will be key to your success.
Your Day to Day:
- Manage a team of engineers, supporting their career growth and day-to-day execution.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
- Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Drive the planning, execution, and success of technical projects
- Collaborate with engineers and tech leads to understand pain points and deliver tools that improve productivity and consistency.
- Champion best practices in implementation of scalable CI/CD systems and practices to support a fast, secure, and reliable release process.
- Work closely with recruiting to attract and hire top-tier engineering talent.
You Have & You Know-how:
- 4+ years of team leadership and/or management experience in technical teams.
- 5+ years of software development experience in engineering or platform/tooling roles.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and modern software architecture.
- A passion for improving engineering workflows and reducing developer friction.
- Ability to balance technical innovation with business impact and drive results.
- Excellent English skills.
