VP of Finance
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as VP of Finance and work closely with our CFO as Immersive enter an exciting period of growth and maturity.
In this role you will drive key decisions within the business and support us with our growth journey. You will be responsible for leading and developing both the operational and commercial finance team whilst also overseeing all disciplines within the finance org - including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, treasury, tax and financial accounting and reporting.
As VP of Finance, you will ensure that Immersive’s financial systems are robust, compliant, and support both our current activities and future growth requirements.
There are 10 of us in the finance department and we’re all in our amazing Bristol office at least once a week so ideally you will be based in Bristol or within a reasonable distance to be an active presence at our HQ.

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):
Creation and delivery of the finance and accounting strategy for the group
Support stakeholders to make data driven decisions
Monitor key performance indicators across all areas - highlighting trends and identifying causes of unexpected variances.
Lead the FP&A team to achieve delivery of all FP&A goals
Own the group strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumption and using data to drive decision making.

Act as a key member of the Executive team and collaborate with senior leadership to formulate growth strategy and business planning
You should apply if you have (we know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):
Be a fully qualified ACA accountant with a number of years of experience in a senior financial role with proven success and tenure
Ideally, a background working for a large international organisation, with the strong financial and commercial acumen that comes from this experience
Have experience in SaaS organisations and extensive knowledge of key SaaS metrics.
Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
