Interpres Cyber Security Consultants ensure the long-term success of our clients by providing talented, passionate, and specialized security expertise. Our Cyber Security Consultants partner with our clients to evaluate, create, develop, improve, and mature information security operations and programs utilizing the Interpres platform. You will also serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our customer success team, partners and community.
What You Will Do:
Interpres Cyber Security Consultants ensure the long-term success of our clients by providing talented, passionate, and specialized security expertise. Our Cyber Security Consultants partner with our clients to evaluate, create, develop, improve, and mature information security operations and programs utilizing the Interpres platform. You will also serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our customer success team, partners and community.
What You Will Do:
- Serving as the technical point of contact for your customer success managers and Interpres customers
- Developing a deep understanding of customers' goals and objectives, and articulating how our offerings address their needs.
- Driving customer value within the Interpres platform for production implementations
- Assess existing customer security controls
- Provide knowledge of tools and technologies used for enterprise security
- Provide knowledge of adversary TTPs and associated detection and mitigation actions
- Develop recommendations to drive client enhancements of their security architecture, governance, and standards.
- Onboarding, educating and enabling our customers and partners
- Creating collateral, contributing to programs and collaborating with other Interpres team members to meet individual client needs.
- 5+ years experience in professional information security domains
- 3+ years experience working with security frameworks, such as Mitre ATT&CK, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, HIPAA/HITECH, or PCI DSS
- 3+ years of experience cloud computing concepts and how security controls are applied to those cloud-based technologies.
- 3+ years experience fusing threat intelligence into operations
- Knowledge of tools used in penetration testing, security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, network and endpoint architecture, malware analysis or other areas of security operations
- Developing detection logic using SIGMA, YAML, and YARA
- Writing scripts in PowerShell, python, ruby, Perl and bash
- Log engineering
- Understanding of security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and network equipment
- Certifications related to specific Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) or industry-standard cloud certifications (e.g. CCSP, CCSK, etc.)
- Certifications related to Blue Team, Red Team, and Purple Team methodologies (SANS, Offensive Security, etc)
- Ability to document and explain technical details in a clear and concise manner
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to travel up to 50%
