The Talent Acquisition Manager sets the recruitment strategy and leads a team of Talent Acquisition Partners/Recruiters, Coordinators, and Sourcers to support our growing business needs. This role will build and nurture business relationships, act as an influential strategic thought and people leader, and guide Optiv Talent Acquisition into the future. The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on creating, implementing, and assessing a wide variety of initiatives, including but not limited to university, analytics, team engagement, and continual partner with the business. This position may also actively recruit on requisitions as needed to support the team while moving forward with key objectives. This position will be hybrid and is required to be in-office in Bangalore up to 2 days or more per week.
How you’ll make an impact
- Execute Optiv’s Talent Acquisition strategy in support of company growth initiatives, goals and values.
- Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiting professionals to high performance in pursuit of Optiv’s talent needs. Source and hire talented employees, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, identify and manage risks, and energize and engage the team to a standard of excellence.
- Build diversity hiring strategies to increase the diversity of hires
- Network with external resources, peer organizations, etc. to understand recruiting and market trends impacting the business
- Partner closely with HR to ensure best in class practices with internal candidate identification and career progression plans. Foster a one Optiv HR function and actively engage in leading the role as a Talent Acquisition expert
- Monitor hiring to approved headcount to ensure hiring plan is met. Work with the team to build scalable processes and automation to ensure quality metrics, compliance.
- As a leader by example, take personal responsibility for decisions while working cooperatively with others to get work done quickly and with quality.
- Lead teams towards a common vision based on organizational goals and budget considerations. Develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments.
- Use data to identify trends, drive change and assess progress in advancing the overall function of Talent Acquisition. Ensure timely and accurate communication of employment-related metrics to identify issues and trends. Advise management on trends and retention strategies.
- Build innovative plans to ensure a pipeline for talent is met including college programs, programs with industry associations, and internships or job rotation plans.
- Earn the confidence and trust of others; deliver on commitments; demonstrate high standards of ethical conduct and protect confidential information.
- Work with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or vendor partners to drive employment advertising campaigns.
- Promote and build on our Optiv Employment Brand. Act as an integral partner in helping to acquire key talent, improve organizational performance, and develop the organizational capability.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 14 years of progressive recruiting experience, including a combination of management of Recruiters or teams. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
- Highly effective with translating functional plans into operational processes and guide execution.
- Engaging, Connected, Courageous, and Inclusive leader of teams; excellent ability to lead people through open communication and fostering positive working relationships.
- Proven ability to interact frequently with all levels of the organization, involving matters between departments, business units, and external stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present results and recommendations across the function and to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated successful experience in sourcing and recruiting talent relevant to technical, cybersecurity, or related industry
- Working knowledge of employment law and other applicable regulations.
- Experience in leading searches for all levels of positions. Experience in a fast-paced recruitment function for a large corporation or a startup with significant growth is helpful.
- Capability to identify process improvements to scale the business under rapid growth. Demonstrated ability to outline processes and show results with metrics.
- Power user and leader in internet recruiting and social networking and other creative sourcing solutions. Able to build a pipeline and/or programs to enhance employment brand and reach passive candidates.
- Experience fully utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other technologies to scale and differentiate HR capability.
- General knowledge of compensation theory and practices.
- Goal-oriented individual who can prioritize activities with the drive and follow-through necessary to achieve results while thriving in a rapid-paced, changing business environment.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into talent priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills needed to build strong client relationships and with HR function.
- Hybrid office requirement, up to 2 days or more in-office.
