The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will work closely with our customers, SOC team, and various business units to implement access controls in accordance of IT and security strategies. The role of an IAM Engineer will focus on supporting policies, industry standards and adhering to regulatory compliance. Responsibilities will include support of the IAM strategy, overall systems management and administering IAM functions.

How you’ll make an impact

  • High level professional writing experience regarding documenting and reporting on potential security incidents identified in customer environments and timeline of events.
  • Work with partners to administer user accounts and access privileges
  • Provide troubleshooting and driving IAM issues to resolution
  • Work with our team on IAM project and initiatives
  • Perform knowledge transfers, document, and train new users on the IAM system
  • Provide ongoing recommendations to other peers and customers best practices.
  • Actively research current threats and attack vectors being exploited in the wild
  • Actively work with other engineers and perform investigations on escalations.

What we’re looking for

  • 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Three or more years of full-time professional experience in the Information Security field
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Managed Security Service (MSS), or enterprise network environment as a point of escalation.
  • Excellent time management, reporting, and communication skills including customer interactions and executive presentations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory or other IAM software.
  • Experience troubleshooting IAM systems
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Understand and demonstrate the ability to articulate IAM strategy.
  • Experience troubleshooting and creating solutions to solve IAM issues.
  • Knowledge and staying up to date on IAM trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Experience with IAM tools (On-Premise or Azure, Okta, Ping Identity, etc.).
  • Strong team player and interpersonal skills.
