This position will be hired within the Kansas City metro and will report into the office 3 days per week.
Optiv is seeking a skilled Integrations Developer to work with the Enterprise Applications team to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and API connections between our core enterprise systems.
How you'll make an impact
Provide escalation support for application issues, including root cause analysis and execution of durable fixes
Troubleshoot production issues and partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex system problems
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance to ensure stable and reliable releases
Follow defined Jira workflows and standards such as:
Create and update work that provide accurate status, estimates, to manage work and provide visibility
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and Agile ceremonies
Review, analyze, and customize configuration through end-to-end support for the NetSuite application
Customize and configure system workflows and scripting to improve productivity
Work directly with internal clients to gather and document business needs
Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations, workflows, scripts, and extensions to support evolving business needs
Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and production support to deliver scalable and reliable application solutions
Build and maintain automation and system integrations using APIs and third-party tools (e.g., SuiteProjects Pro, Jitterbit)
Translate business requirements and operational rules into reliable application logic and system configurations
Code, test, debug and implement applications that are scalable
Gather feedback, troubleshoot, and debug software issues, and provide timely resolution
Design, develop, and maintain backend logic and core business algorithms that are scalable and reliable solutions
Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize work
Assist with Jira stories, estimate effort using story points, and contribute consistently within sprint commitments
Provide regular project and work status updates through established team cadences and forums
Engage periodically with internal customers to validate progress, gather UAT feedback, and adjust delivery as needed
Develop and maintain technical documentation to support operational continuity, solution design references, cross-training, and future enhancements
Maintain code and documentation in alignment with established development standards and system governance
Performs other duties as assigned

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree Related degree and/or equivalent applicable work experience required
2-4 years of experience in customizing, developing, testing and maintaining Javascript required
Experience configuring cloud-based ERP/PSA applications
Ability to dive into data record fields, form configuration, workflows, Javascript, SQL like APIs, HTML, searches/reports and CSV imports to define and implement custom data presentations and procedures
Demonstrate understanding of implementing clean user interfaces, data integrity, process documentation and effective business workflow
Ability to develop and test in QA and sandbox then move from sandbox to production environment
Familiarity with SaaS integration tools, cloud storage, and API management, such as Jitterbit is a plus
Familiarity with our other EA applications - Workday, Concur, Suite Projects Pro is a plus

Basic understanding of finance and finance operations processes
