As a Sales Engineer at ReliaQuest you will work closely with our Sales team to engage and secure initial business as well as grow new business opportunities within existing clients. You will be providing security confidence to some of the worlds most trusted brands through a Demonstration and “Day in the Life” showcase of our SaaS security platform, GreyMatter. Additionally, you will have the chance to uncover unique customer requirements that will ultimately lead to the continuous growth and evolvement of our platform and ReliaQuest as a whole.

The everyday hustle:

  • Actively work alongside the ReliaQuest Sales team members throughout the sales process by participating in business development calls and meetings with prospects and current customers.
  • Strategically analyze each client's needs in great detail in order to design, present, and demonstrate the appropriate Information Security solutions throughout the sales cycle.
  • Demonstrate the ReliaQuest GreyMatter platform to prospects, customers and partners.
  • Promptly respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP’s).
  • Assist the Sales team in reviewing and creating a Bill of Materials through sizing, scoping, and pricing.
  • Provide Value Assessments to quantify enterprise’s use of people, processes, and technology.
  • Work in partnership with the Sales organization in order to successfully meet quota objectives set by the region.
  • Provide thorough training and guidance to client's information security staff as needed.
  • Consistently maintain and build upon technical advisor relationships.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years of applicable network security and information security experience.
  • At least two years of experience in a customer facing role.
  • Subject matter expertise in Information Security technology verticals (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Firewall, IPS, DLP, Application Security, Web Security).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the following areas: PCI; GLBA; SOX; HIPAA, GDPR.
  • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape.
  • Highly motivated self-starter that does not require day-to-day management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience presenting and engaging with audiences ranging from the End-User to C-Level Executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience.
  • Willingness to travel 40%+.
  • Ability to drive results while working from home.
