As a Workday Financial Systems Analyst, you will be supporting internal teams, primarily Accounting and Finance, by building and implementing Workday business process changes, system training, integrations and implementation of additional application functionality. The everyday hustle
- Leveraging experience to analyze existing processes and touch points and provide well documented solutions to optimize system configurations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are key
- Documenting technical requirements and prioritizing work to align with stakeholder priorities. Ensuring the services and solutions provided meet their current and future business needs
- Managing concurrent priorities and projects, strong organization and project management skills are important
- Designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting systems and processes to meet requirements while adhering to change management and system development life-cycle best practices
- Scope of technical configuration includes business process workflow, custom fields, custom validations, custom reports, dashboards, integrations, and security role management
- Preparing communications and presentations to educate stakeholders on enhancement opportunities and process improvements through new functionality delivered during system updates
- Cultivating and coordinating relationships with stakeholders; frequently interacting with leaders and cross-functional partners of varying technical aptitudes to set strategic guidance and effectively influence decision-making
- Stakeholder and system requirements are dynamic, so it is important to maintain the pace of innovation provided by Workday and acquire new skills/knowledge to keep up with the shifting landscape.
- Collaborating with other organizations in Workday Community to share knowledge and create and/or adhere to industry best practices. Pursue opportunities that will allow the organization to provide input on system enhancements and Workday’s product roadmap
- Helping develop and maintain financial training materials and provide user support services. Promote proactive approaches using Workday to solve business demands and concerns
- Maintains data integrity in FIN systems by running routine queries to audit and analyzing data
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum of 1 year of Workday Financials configuration experience
- Proficiency in Accounting related processes
- Understanding HRIS system Business Processes, Securities and Reporting
- Completed Bachelor’s degreein Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Systems or related field
- Ability to work independently and manage time well with multiple task assignments
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Ability to collaborate and have a strong desire to excel
- Ability to handle and work hands on with confidential data
- Ability to respond to changing demands, priorities, procedures and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple requests at once, while delivering accurate and timely results
- Resourceful, independent self-starter with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
