The Compensation Manager will be responsible for the company’s compensation structure and approach to ensure ongoing competitive compensation for top-talent. This role will perform market research, development, and implementation of company compensation programs, monitor effectiveness, and make revisions when necessary.
The everyday hustle:
- Creating compensation programs that establish pay grades and criteria for merit increases and promotions.
- Researching market trends to evaluate the competitiveness of salaries in the industry.
- Reviewing, evaluating, and revising compensation programs regularly.
- Partnering with the benefits team to help develop benefits programs that complement the compensation structure for employees.
- Reviewing and evaluating teammate compensation against programs, identifying areas of opportunity.
- Obtaining feedback to assess teammate satisfaction with compensation and benefits.
- Advising managers and supervisors about matters related to compensation.
- Aligning compensation programs with our recruitment team to attract high quality candidates.
- Complying with federal, state and local compensation laws, such as global minimum wage regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- 5+ years with compensation management experience
- Research and analytical skills to gather and interpret data
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work well with teammates across all areas of the business, levels, and geographic locations
- Problem-solving skills to find solutions to challenges
- Extensive knowledge of laws related to compensation and benefits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail to produce analysis and present information in a clear, concise and effective manner
- Time management skills and drive to find a way to deliver on commitments
What makes you uncommon?

- Working knowledge of use of an HR system; Workday preferred but not required
