We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to work closely with our R&D teams to define, refine, and execute the technical and product requirements for the Strivacity product. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about identity and access management, enjoys working with engineers, and can translate business needs into technical solutions.

What you’ll do as a Technical Product Manager

  • Become an expert in the product’s functionally as well as have deep understandings of the architecture and limitations.
  • Engage directly with customer stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and manage feature delivery expectations.
  • Lead technical discovery and feasibility assessments for new CIAM functionalities, including authentication, authorization, account onboarding, identity verification, fraud prevention, user management, and user experience optimizations.
  • Translate business and customer requirements into technical product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the R&D team, ensuring that product development aligns with user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams (including developers, UX designers, and technical documentation writers) to prioritize and deliver features efficiently.
  • Manage technical documentation for APIs, SDKs, as well as developer docs for writing code for our Lifecycle Event Hooks.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in CIAM, security, and identity standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO2, etc.) to influence product strategy.
  • Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to optimize product performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product leadership on the product roadmap for key CIAM features, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.

What you should bring with you

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Technical background – Experience in software development, APIs, security, or identity management (engineering, solutions architecture, or technical product management).
  • Product management experience – 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a related role within software or security domains.
  • Identity and Security Knowledge – Familiarity with authentication & authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2, SCIM).
  • API-first mindset – Understanding of RESTful APIs, SDKs, and how developers consume identity services.
  • Agile Product Development – Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – Ability to make data-driven decisions and work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • English proficiency – Fluent in written and spoken English.

Having these is a definite plus:

  • Hands-on with CIAM – Experience with CIAM products, IAM platforms (Okta, Auth0, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID), or self-hosted identity solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, CI/CD, fraud detection, or adaptive authentication technologies.
  • Background in developer relations (understanding how to make identity products developer-friendly).
  • Experience working in an R&D-heavy environment or in cross-border product teams.
