The Role
The Head of SDRs/ISRs is a player-coach who will personally drive pipeline while building Twine's inside sales engine from the ground up.
You will report directly to the CMO and partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations to convert the world's largest enterprises into Twine customers.
This is a foundational hire. You will define the playbook, hire your first reps, and own the top-of-funnel motion that fuels Twine's growth.
Core Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation (Player)
- Individual Quota: Carry an individual quota for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute outbound prospecting into enterprise security teams.
- Inbound Conversion: Convert inbound marketing leads into qualified opportunities.
Team Building and Leadership (Coach)
- Hiring and Development: Hire and develop a team of SDRs/ISRs, starting with your first reps.
- Coaching: Lead call reviews, email reviews, and live shadowing.
- Culture: Build a culture of metrics, continuous learning, and competitive drive.
Operating Model and Analytics
- Playbook: Define and own the playbook for outbound and inbound motions.
- KPIs: Own SQLs, pipeline value, conversion rate, and AE-handoff acceptance rate.
- Tech Stack: Use Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft, Gong, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Clay to optimize cadence and targeting.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Marketing: Partner with the CMO on lead quality, lead routing, and SLA enforcement.
- Sales: Partner with Account Executives on handoff quality and territory strategy.
- Operations: Partner with Sales Operations on tech stack, reporting, and process.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience running SDR, BDR, or inside sales teams.
- Industry: Cybersecurity sales experience.
- Buyer: Direct experience selling to leadership level security buyers.
- Stage: Early-stage startup experience. You have built a function from scratch, not just managed one at scale.
- Talent Pipeline: Track record of hiring, ramping, and promoting reps into AE roles.
- Analytical Skills: Comfort with sales metrics, cadence performance, and pipeline math.
- Communication: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to articulate sales strategy to the C-suite and Board.

Location and Work Model
