We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Core) to build the UI foundation of Jazz, the architecture, libraries, and tooling that our entire product experience will stand on.

This is a senior-level full-stack role with a heavy focus on frontend infrastructure and library-quality React engineering. You will be the foundational hire for a new dedicated UI team, owning the core technical direction for how our product is built, scaled, and maintained.

What You’ll Do:

• Build the core React component architecture and shared UI foundations.
• Define state-management patterns and frontend technical standards across the product.
• Design and maintain the frontend build system, developer workflows, and CI pipelines.
• Ensure the UI platform is performant, scalable, and technically sound.
• Partner closely with backend and product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
• Set the groundwork for a high-impact UI team as Jazz continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4-6+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong proficiency in Python and distributed systems.
• Experience building and operating scalable, reliable backend infrastructure (FastAPI, Kafka/Redis, Docker/Kubernetes, observability).
• Solid understanding of secure software design, including safe API development, data protection, and security-oriented engineering practices.
• Ability to own features end-to-end - from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvements.
• Familiarity with LLM/AI concepts (agents, retrieval, vector search) and the ability to work with these components in production systems.
